They can mail back the actual ballot sent to them, drop off their mail-in ballot at any Vote Center/Drop Box location, or cast their vote on a voting machine in person at any Vote Center during early voting or on election day. There are also options for our military, vacationing/business travel, and oversees citizens

A dedicated public servant with over three decades of experience, bringing a wealth of knowledge and commitment to the Incline Village and Crystal Bay community. His professional journey showcases a diverse background in law enforcement, judicial roles, and community engagement. I am serving this community within the IV Justice Court as the Criminal Clerk. I also serves as Justice of the Peace Pro-Tem (substitue Judge) for the Court as needed.
My mission is to perpetuate a strong bond with residents, reflecting our shared passion for this community. Since 1996, from my early days as a Deputy Constable to serving as Bailiff Supervisor and your two-term Elected Constable, Judge pro-tem, Criminal Clerk, I have been a part of the fabric of Incline Village. Now, I seek to continue this journey as your next elected Judge, ensuring a fair and just legal decisions that upholds our constitutional rights we hold dear. Together, let's build on our community's strengths, navigate challenges, and embrace the future with confidence.
Elected Constable (January 2015 to December 2022): Hans held the esteemed position of Constable, earning the trust of the community through democratic election. Bailiff Supervisor (November 2011 to December 2014): In a supervisory role at Incline Village - Crystal Bay Justice Court, Hans maintained order and upheld justice. Administrative Sergeant (May 2000 to November 2011): Hans played a key administrative role in the Office of Constable, contributing to the overall efficiency of operations. Deputy Constable (September 1996 to May 2000): Beginning his law enforcement journey, Hans served as Deputy Constable, gaining valuable experience. Law Enforcement Instructor (2000-2009): Certified in Defensive Tactics and Firearms, Hans contributed to the training of law enforcement personnel. Served as a substitute Judge when needed.
Since planting my roots in 1996, I have witnessed the ebb and flow of time, observing the growth of local generations and the birth of new beginnings. In those years, I have become more than a familiar face; I am a pillar of the community, someone many locals turn to for help or navigating the intricacies civil matters. My commitment to helping my neighbors extends beyond the courtroom, making me a figure of trust and reliability.As the seasons change, so does the landscape of Incline Village, and I have been there to witness it all – from the transformation of businesses to the construction of new schools and grocery stores. The woods have made way for parks, and Ski Incline has evolved into Diamond Peak. Through it all, I have stood alongside the community, embracing the adaptability and resilience that define Incline Village.My involvement with the Incline Village Optimist Club in the early 2000s has allowed me to forge connections with countless local families. Whether they reside in town year-round or are just seasonal visitors, I have been a constant presence, offering assistance and support. The Optimist Club has become a testament to my dedication to community service and a platform for meeting the diverse needs of Incline Village residents. For me, the decision to serve as a judge is a natural progression of my deep connection to Incline Village. I have seen the town evolve, not just physically but also in the hearts of its people. The sense of community is precious to me, and I recognize the strength derived from adapting to change. Pledging to provide fair, unbiased, and just decisions and services, I aim to continue fostering the strong bond with residents. My extensive experience in the judicial process and law enforcement background equip me with the skills needed to ensure the independence of local government. Beyond the courtroom, my passion for outdoor activities and commitment to community service make me a dedicated advocate for the well-being of the Incline Village community, reflecting my love for the town and its residents.
